That’s right. If you are an ex-military Veteran that is going to North Dakota to get involved, you have been completely scammed and duped by Mr. Wes Clark Jr, a co-host at The Young Turks Network and his associates in an attempt to raise money, create news, and push a false narrative based on deception and misrepresentation. Don’t feel bad though, they also fooled thousands of people into donating to their little theater to the tune of more than $300,000 so far.
Young Turks: an insurgent or a member of an insurgent group especially in a political party : radical; broadly : one advocating changes within a usually established group.
For those of you that are convinced you are doing the right thing (you are not) and are planning on trekking to North Dakota on the 3rd, be advised that the Army Corps of Engineers will be clearing the main camp off of Federal Lands on the 5th. If you are a law abiding citizen that respects the rule of law and you honor your country, you will stand down and stay home. If you are a gung-ho radicalized idiot that wants to play army and fool yourself into thinking you are doing something honorable, you had better be ready for the consequences of breaking the law and participating in violence against law enforcement, federal agents, and putting innocents (including women and children) at risk.
There are two types of protesters. The first kind are the ones that are honestly protesting and doing so in a peaceful manner. These people should be respected and their voice should be heard. Regardless of whether or not the pipeline is going to come through, these people have concerns and fears that should be listened to.
Then there is the second kind of protester. These are the dirty, uneducated, brainwashed, radical clowns that cling to any cause they can, seeking to feed their narcissistic addiction of playing victim and sacrificing themselves for the noble cause of the day. They are worse than cultists and will do anything for attention. They can no longer think critically or think for themselves. They have eaten the diseased fruits of anarchy, racism, intolerance, bigotry, and hate. They cannot hear truth, they cannot bear to be exposed to any viewpoint other than their own, and they are quick to unfiltered spluttering rage. They are incapable of having a discussion or a debate. The camps are riddled with these people and many of them have originated from other places, causes, and hotbeds of rioting, anarchy, and looting.
Some of you that are still in the camps protesting may take offense at what I just wrote. If you’re in the first group, you have my respect – but also my sympathy – for not seeing the situation that you are in now. If you’re in the second group, I expect that you will not finish reading this post, and you will write some vile comment about my race or my intellect.
We have already seen the Tribal Council vote unanimously to kick out the troublemakers in the Red Warrior camp, but they are still around causing harm. They are the ones that are rioting and attacking police, usually getting the innocents caught up in their actions, as adrenaline and emotions are high. They feed on the danger and the self-centered feelings of sanctimonious sacrifice.
And now, there are allegations that improvised explosive devices have been attempted. Unfortunately, one blew up on one of the protesters, almost costing her her left arm. If you have served (or serve) in a combat role, you know that what these rioters are doing is wrong, and you should not be part of it. You may want to help, but it is not your place to get involved now. Let the Tribal Leadership and Local Law Enforcement de-escalate things and bring peace so negotiations can commence.
You should also hold Mr. Clark accountable for his lies and the misrepresentations of his organization. If you donated to this scurrilous campaign against law enforcement to incite our honored veterans to participate in the farce, you should demand a refund. In effect, to some degree, we would contend that The Young Turks and their management is inciting people to riot and violence against law enforcement. Reckless endangerment. They should be held accountable by the law.
“Most civilians who’ve never served in a uniform are gutless worms who’ve never been in a fight in their life,” – Wes Clark Jr.
Do not disrespect your uniform or your service. Those are things to be valued, and there is no higher thing than to serve your country. But this is not honorable. It is a false flag cause meant to trick you into subverting law enforcement and the law, while giving a deceptive cover of honor to the radicals. Wes Clark’s cause it not sincere, and it is not truly about protecting the tribe. It is about advancing his radical ideas and staging news using your reputation and blood. No matter what he says, he is the real coward and gutless worm who can’t be honest about his true goals. He is no defender of the Constitution or honorable guardian of the Flag. His call to action is based on falsehood and sweet words to inveigle you. True patriots see him for what he is.
Think and pray hard before you leap off the precipice and travel to North Dakota.
Peace for pipeline, not violence.
Some final notes about the Clark’s gofundme campaign. Here it is so you can see for yourself: https://www.gofundme.com/veterans-for-standing-rock-nodapl
“calling for our fellow veterans to assemble as a peaceful, unarmed militia”
The keyword there is militia, and Mr. Clark will play General. Think about what that means…a militia.
“defend the water protectors from assault and intimidation at the hands of the militarized police force and DAPL security.”
There is not a single instance of law enforcement or security assaulting or attacking protesters. Everything was done using standard riot control techniques or defending against rioters attacking a police barrier, line, or attempting to destroy private property.
“We have full support of the Sioux tribe elders and will be cooperating with them every step of the way.”
This is not true. If it is, it would be news and a tremendous blow to the credibility of the Tribal leaders for endorsing violence against law enforcement. Multiple leaders have spoken out against violence, rioters, and demanded that the Red Warrior camp disband and leave.
“Mace, sound cannons, sniper guns pointed at unarmed civilians, journalists being shot with rubber bullets, journalists being arrested for covering the protests,”
The groups of protesters, which included civilians and journalists, were warned multiple times for each of multiple incidents that they were trespassing, breaking the law, or not following lawful commands. When you don’t listen to police and you do something wrong, they are legally obligated to enforce the law, and sometimes that means using force.
“attack dogs unleashed on groups including children, elder Natives getting tased and violently arrest,”
Not true, debunked. Initially, over 300 protesters, some mounted on horses, accompanied with their own dogs, many armed with bats and poles, and yes, some children and elders, broke through a fence and attacked a handful of construction workers and a few security guards with a couple of dogs. The security dogs, after being beat bloody and in at least one case trampled by a horse, obviously defended themselves. Later, images of children mauled by dogs (why were they brought to this event to start with) turned out to be fake and images from an incident in South America some years ago.
“protesters marked with numbers and kept in dog kennels after arrest… “
Patently false. Never happened. No evidence. Total fabrication by someone wanting more attention and rationalization for their behavior.
“On November 20, Morton County Sheriff Department forces attacked water protectors with water cannons in freezing temperatures and launched concussion grenades into a peaceful crowd. Several had to be treated for hypothermia and one protestor who was hit directly with a grenade has reportedly had her arm amputated as a result.”
The Sheriff department and law enforcement faced off a mob of rioters armed with shields, slingshots, rocks, and other materials in the middle of the night, and on private property or federal land. No water cannons were used (hoses, yes), there were no concussion grenades used (there are ZERO law enforcement agencies in North Dakota that have concussion grenades), and the crowd was by no means peaceful.
The protester that was “hit” with a grenade, was not actually hit with a grenade, but rather is alleged to have been working with several others to plant propane tank-based improvised explosive devices when one exploded, doing grievous damage to her left arm, at around 3 a.m. She and others are currently under investigation by the FBI and the Joint Terrorism Task Force. There are multiple conflicting and contradictory “first person” and “eyewitness” accounts. In one case, the same individual (Stephen) has been interviewed multiple times and his story keeps changing key facts about the event. Propane tanks and other devices were recovered by law enforcement.
“Everyday, it becomes more evident that the defenders of America must stand with the Water Protectors. Let’s stop this savage injustice being committed right here at home. If not us, who? If not now, when? Are you a hero? Are you honorable? Not if you allow this the be the United States.”
This stopped being about protecting the water a long time ago when it was exposed that the main water source has been planned for years to be shut down at the end of this year and replaced with another one 70 miles to the south and paid for by the U.S. Government. Not to mention other water sources, and the dangerous railroad that crosses over the river carrying oil. I’m sure you know about the six other pipelines that are already in the ground as well. The people to protect are the innocent members of the tribe(s), but they need protection from their leadership and the outside radicals taking advantage of them for their own disgusting goals.
If you are a hero, you will stand by the tribe, but not join the farce and clownish “deployment” that Mr. Clark and his colleagues at the Young Turk Network are inciting you to join with their subtle attempt to pervert your pride and honor.
Think hard and think for yourself.
Whatever you decide, I do want to thank you for your service, and I do appreciate the sentiment of why you may have been fooled here. It says that you have character and you would sacrifice to help the needy. Unfortunately that is not the cause here anymore.
